1. General Rules

1.1 Ampang Charity Night Run 2026 is a non-competitive fun run event. The main objectives are to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen community spirit, and raise funds for children with autism.
1.2 All participants must complete the official registration process and agree to abide by these Rules & Regulations.
1.3 The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event route, schedule, or activities if deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1 The event is open to the public of all ages and fitness levels.
2.2 Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian throughout the run.
2.3 All participants must wear their official bib number (if provided) visibly at all times during the run.
2.4 Registration fees (if applicable) are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

3. Safety & Health

3.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to take part in the event.
3.2 The organizer and its partners will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues sustained during the event.
3.3 Medical and first aid personnel will be stationed along the route. Participants should seek assistance immediately if feeling unwell.
3.4 Dangerous behavior such as pushing, shoving, or obstructing others is strictly prohibited.
3.5 Pets, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, or any unauthorized wheeled devices are not permitted on the running course.

4. Conduct During the Run

4.1 Participants must follow the designated route and comply with all instructions from marshals, volunteers, and security personnel.
4.2 Littering along the route is strictly prohibited. Please dispose of rubbish at designated bins.
4.3 Participants are expected to show respect and sportsmanship towards fellow runners, volunteers, and staff.
4.4 The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who is deemed to be acting inappropriately or endangering others.

5. Weather & Event Changes

5.1 The event will proceed in light rain. However, in the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to delay, postpone, or cancel the event for safety reasons.
5.2 If cancellation occurs, no refunds will be made. Participants are encouraged to treat their registration as a donation to the charity cause.

6. Finisher & Souvenirs

6.1 As this is a fun run, the event will not recognize winners or award competitive prizes.
6.2 All finishers will receive a finisher medal and/or certificate of participation (subject to availability).
6.3 Event t-shirts, race kits, and other souvenirs are provided as part of registration, subject to terms set by the organizer.

7. Waiver of Liability

7.1 By registering, participants agree to release the organizer, sponsors, and partners from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during or as a result of the event.
7.2 Participants grant the organizer the right to use event photographs, recordings, or other media featuring them for promotional purposes.
