H21F JANDA BAIK 2025 – RULES & REGULATIONS

Please read these Rules & Regulations carefully. By registering for H21F Janda Baik 2025, organised by KL Event Management, participants agree to comply with all Terms & Conditions stated herein.

1. EVENT DETAILS

1.1 Event Name: H21F Janda Baik 2025

1.2 Date: 08 November, 2025 (Sunday)

1.3 Venue: Janda Baik, Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia

1.4 Organiser: KL Event Management

1.5 The Organiser reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or make changes to the Event without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. bad weather, natural disasters, safety concerns, or government directives).

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Event is open to all Malaysian and international participants.

2.2 Age requirements as of Event Day:

21KM Half Marathon (Trail/Endurance) – Minimum 16 years old

12KM Trail Run (Competitive) – Minimum 15 years old

5KM Fun Run (Leisure) – Minimum 12 years old

2.3 Participants below 18 years old must obtain parent/guardian consent.

2.4 All participants must be medically fit to join the Event.

3. REGISTRATION

3.1 Registration can only be made through the official website: www.klevent.my/h21fjandabaik

.3.2 Registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable once payment is made.

3.3 Each participant may only register for one category. Multiple entries under the same name will not be accepted.

3.4 Registration will close on [Insert Closing Date] or when the maximum slots are fully taken.

3.5 The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry deemed incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent.

4. RACE KIT COLLECTION

4.1 Race Kit includes:

4.1.1, Official Event Tee

4.2 Race Kit collection must be done on the announced dates.

4.3 Tee sizes are subject to availability on a first-come, first-serve basis.

5. EVENT RULES

5.1 Participants must wear their Race Bib visibly at all times. Entry to the starting line will be refused without a bib.

5.2 Participants must follow the designated race route, signage, and instructions from race officials, marshals, and safety officers.

5.3 The Organiser reserves the right to:

Remove any participant deemed unfit to continue;

Disqualify participants who cheat, use unofficial bibs, or behave unsportsmanlike.

5.4 The following are strictly prohibited on the race course:

Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, prams, and wheeled devices (except for official or medical vehicles).

5.5 Cut-off times:

21KM – 4 hours

12KM – 2 hours 30 minutes

5KM – 2 hours  

5.6 Finisher entitlements (medal & e-certificate) will only be awarded to those who complete within the qualifying time.

6. SAFETY & INSURANCE

6.1 Participants join at their own risk and are strongly advised to undergo medical check-up prior to the Event.

6.2 The Organiser provides basic Group Personal Accident (GPA) insurance coverage for all registered participants (subject to insurer’s terms).

6.3 The Organiser will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or death before, during, or after the Event.

7. RESULTS, WINNERS & PRIZES

7.1 Results will be verified and published on the official website.

7.2 Gun Time will be used to determine podium winners; Net Time will be used for overall rankings.

7.3 Podium winners must present a valid IC/Passport for verification.

7.4 All appeals must be submitted within 30 minutes of result announcements. The Organiser’s decision is final.

8. MEDIA & PERSONAL DATA

8.1 By registering, participants consent to the use of their personal data for Event-related administration and promotional purposes.

8.2 The Organiser may use participants’ names, photos, videos, and recordings for publicity without prior consent or compensation.

9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

9.1 Participation is voluntary, and participants accept all risks associated with trail running, including but not limited to injury, fatigue, dehydration, and wildlife encounters.

9.2 The Organiser, sponsors, partners, and officials shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or death arising from participation.

9.3 By registering, participants agree to waive all legal claims against the Organiser and its partners.

10. GOVERNING LAW

10.1 These Rules & Regulations shall be governed under the laws of Malaysia.

10.2 By registering, participants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
